Sekai is a rich platform built on the question of what storytelling can be like in a world with generative AI everyone’s fingertips. A writer who isn’t a skilled illustrator can use generative AI art to bring their IP to the next level, all with a few clicks and a strong prompt. Imagination has become the all-in-one currency for generative AI; deposit an idea and receive an output you can fine-tune for your needs.

Anyone will be able to use Sekai to generate immersive multi-media stories that incorporate still assets, music, audio dialogues, and one day even animated clips. Easy-to-follow prompts will guide creators through a step-by-step process of creating their own generative stories, including narrative design, visuals, audio, voiceovers and more.

It's as simple as answering a few questions about your vision, hitting generate, and selecting the outputs you like the most. Another interesting feature are choose-your-own adventure style prompts that can be included, making each reader’s experience through a story generatively unique. Sekai offers a user-friendly experience, enabling anyone to create entire stories within minutes. Now, imagine that power in the hands of communities of creators dedicated to their craft.

If a creator doesn’t want to use any of the generative features and just wants to build their IP universe on Sekai, they can also create stories they craft themselves, not using any of the generative AI features but still tapping into a community of creators.

This lego box of characters, worlds and stories becomes completely composable as onchain IP assets. So, that character from one world you love on Sekai can step into a brand new adventure from a completely different IP on the same platform. You won’t have to wait a decade for protagonists like Deadpool and Wolverine to come together, you’ll be able to tell your own stories with them on Sekai.

IP holders will be able to register the characters, locations, and audio of their works onchain, establishing ownership. All stories, characters and worlds published will also be registered as IP on Story.

IP rights holders can also sell access to the IP they register on Sekai, allowing users to take their worlds into Sekai’s suite of generative AI tools to generate their own stories. This can create massive network effects, creating a path for communal creation that also respects and compensates the chain of IP ownership.
